Thank you!

I want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers for us during my mother's final illness and death. It means a lot! Mom was the best mother a daughter could ask for and I'll miss her. But I also know she was more than ready to go and that God was waiting for her with open arms. I was blessed that we arrived in time and I was holding her hand when she died. She was unconscious but seemed to know that I was there.

Thank you also for the flowers, cards and those of you who signed the online guestbook.

God Bless!

Happy New Year

Hey bloggers. Hope everyone had a blessed and meaningful Christmas. The older I get, the less I like all the materialism. Family things and spirituall things is what it's all about. Greed and commercialism is not, so don't let Wal Mart tell you andy any different! I just know that 2008 will be a good year for us all.

Please remember to pray for David Perkins and pray for my (long time) friend Debbie Camden.
She is a cancer patient and Duke has not given her good news. She starts a new cancer blocker soon which may give her a while longer to live. Of course no guarantees there. She has certainly gone beyond the 9-12 months time they gave her in 2006. She is with her mom and dad down at Afton Mtn. so they can take care of her and her ex is here in Salem taking care of Jordyn (the youngest) and the home. She needs and wants our prayers.
